I bought the 65-inch Sony Bravia 9 to replace my old Sony XBR-65X900F, and it’s easily the best upgrade I’ve ever made. I use the TV in a pretty unique way, it serves as the main display for my computer and gaming setup. It’s paired with my PlayStation 5 and a Sony STR-AN1000, and the whole system works flawlessly together. The picture quality is incredible. I decided against OLED because I was concerned about burn-in over the long term, so the Bravia 9’s Mini LED technology felt like the perfect balance. The black levels are outstanding, not quite OLED territory, but impressively close and a massive improvement over my previous TV. The 120Hz refresh rate makes a noticeable difference when using it as a monitor. Moving the mouse feels ultra-smooth, and gaming is incredibly fluid and responsive. On top of that, the color depth is stunning. The contrast is punchy, highlights are bright without being harsh, and colors truly pop in a way that makes everything look vibrant and immersive. I can’t say enough good things about this TV. If you’re looking for something at the top tier of performance, the Bravia 9 absolutely deserves a spot on your shortlist.
