The StormAudio ISR Fusion 20 is a standout piece of home theater equipment that checks all the boxes—performance, flexibility, and innovation. At $19,999, there’s no denying it’s certainly not cheap, but if you’ve got the budget, it delivers an experience that’s pretty hard to match. It feels more like a high-end separates system packed into a single unit and is capable of handling the most demanding setups.
Make no mistake – Storm's ISR Fusion 20 Immersive Sound Receiver is very expensive. At two to three times the cost of competing flagship receivers, it's a stretch. While that may be the case, the Fusion is anything but a receiver, with performance more akin to serious high-end separates. Simply put, sonically, it runs rings around other AV receivers.
The StormAudio ISR Fusion 20’s performance is obviously targeted at the top end of the market. If you like, that peak you attain when moving to the luxury category is simply the preserve of a select few manufacturers. It’s all in that perceived performance weight, or gravitas, of the finest home cinemas which separates the men from the boys.
