The AKG N60NC Wireless offers a surprisingly competent combination of excellent sound quality and noise cancellation. The headphones are well designed and built, and are much better looking than their competitors. All while sitting at a much cheaper price point. The only issue with these headphones is that they're an on-ear design, which means that they can start to feel uncomfortable over longer listening periods. This may be a problem if you intend to use them on flights.

The AKG N60NC Wireless on-ear headphones are compact, comfortable and well-designed, and sound excellent for a model with active noise cancellation and Bluetooth. They're smaller and lighter than competing full-size earphones and fold up nicely to fit in an included neoprene carrying case.

They have an extended and powerful bass, a very good and fairly even mid-range, and a very good treble. However, their bass is a bit boomy, and the overemphasis continues in the mid-range, making vocals and leads sound thick and cluttered. Also, their treble is uneven, and S and T sounds might be a bit sharp for some people. Overall, these headphones will be suitable for bass-heavy genres and won’t be ideal for vocal-centric music. Unfortunately, they don’t have any customization options.
