It’s very inexpensive while offering quality audio with a very customizable EQ available through the Soundcore app that can automatically adjust depending on positioning. The only real issue is the lack of an auxiliary input. Anything else missing is minor, especially considering the sub-$100 price tag.

It’s not just the price that’s right about this speaker. In addition to impeccable workmanship, there is a simple but useful app and the sound is also impressive considering the size class. We were particularly impressed by the bass and the achievable maximum volume. A similarly conceived Bose Soundlink Flex does not have the really only slightly harsh aftertaste perceptible in some vocal ranges. But it costs almost twice as much in the price list. The automatic sound adjustment “Smart Tune” with position detection is a real highlight.

It's solid and sturdy, with an IPX7 rating for water resistance. It still gets pretty loud for a small speaker, although there's some compression as you push it to max volume.
