The Audio-Technica ATH-M30x is an exceptional pair of headphones. There are certainly better headphones out there but it is hard to find a worthy competitor at this price point. They offer excellent sound delivery. When you factor in the solid isolation it makes these a great pair of beginner DJ headphones.

The Audio-Technica ATH-M30x is a great choice for anybody that needs a decent set of over-ear studio monitors. While the frequency response is not totally spot on, it works for basically every situation reasonably well. The sound quality and reasonably good comfort promote its candidacy as a great pick for $69 USD.

The Audio-Technica M30X have a surprising amount of audio fidelity for their price range but have a poor soundstage because of their closed-back design. They perform above-average for neutral listening but may lack a little openness.
