Simply put, the Pi8s are fantastic-sounding earbuds that also benefit from having a clearly improved design. I'd like to be able to compare them to the Pi6s to get a better sense of whether the Pi8s are worth $150 more, but there's no doubt these are some of the best-sounding earbuds on the market, if not the best (everybody's sound tastes vary so it's hard to declare one set of buds the best-sounding overall).
The price of the Bowers & Wilkins Pi8 lets you know the company is either very confident or very optimistic - happily, almost every aspect of their performance lets you know that confidence is entirely warranted. Unless you’re after ANC that offers a complete cloak of silence, there’s really no reason not to give the Pi8 very careful consideration.
So While they don't have all of the bells and whistles built into the case design versus the JBL or the Airpods for example and the complexity of the app isn't quite as advanced as some of the others, I really like how Bowers & Wilkins have kept things simple.
The Bowers & Wilkins Pi8 earbuds offer a luxurious design, improved fit and battery life as well. They come in at a steep price but the excellent noise cancelling and advanced codec support will likely win over audiophiles.
These little B&W marvels aren’t inexpensive, and while there are much cheaper earbuds on the market, I think they do represent really good value. The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II are $179.00, Apple AirPods Pro II are $189, the Final ZE8000 are $289.00, and all these represent some compromise, in noise reduction or battery life, plus they simply aren’t going to sound as good as the B&W Pi8 earbuds.
Bowers & Wilkins has reimagined its flagship true wireless earbuds to impressive effect with the Pi8. These stylish buds sound sensational, are super comfy to wear and feature leading edge wireless functionality. They’re pricey but worth it.
The Pi8 are pricier than your average wireless earbuds but sonically they perform levels above – the detail and refinement on show are breathtaking. Add useful features, solid ANC, the fact they’re nice to use and comfortable and you’ve got buds that rival brands should take notice of

Bowers & Wilkins Pi8s offer a fantastic fit, the design is a bit more conservative than previously, although it's still very premium.
