The new Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin Pro Edition is an exciting update to the original, with its iconic design making it a stunning centerpiece for any listening space.
It can’t be easy to make changes to a legendary product without being slightly apprehensive, but the Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin Pro both moves the game on a little and does some justice to its lineage at the same time. It's a very impressive, elite-feeling wireless speaker that makes the most of its eye-catching design to produce broad, rich sound.
There are times I find myself preferring to listen to the Zeppelin Pro, rather than sitting down at my computer desk and firing up my subwoofer and stereo speakers over my XLR setup.
The Zeppelin Pro is a vibe and I’m here for it.
If your issue with the standard Zeppelin is that the means by which you are intended to use it is rather limited, the Pro is absolutely not the solution you might have been hoping for. But... if you want the best wireless streaming speaker for remotely sensible money going, the Pro is realistically it.
The Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin Pro looks and sounds the part. A highly dynamic sound profile means mid-range frequencies excel and the bottom-end is beautifully controlled. It is very expensive for a singular speaker though.
The B&W Zeppelin Pro Edition blends iconic looks with solid streaming support and a powerful, full-bodied sound to impressive effect. Despite its lack of physical inputs, it’s a winner in our book
A classic, remastered. That's the Zeppelin Pro Edition in a nutshell. It takes all that made one of the best wireless speakers great and tweaks it yet further. Sure, it's marginal, and the Pro isn't an obvious 'upgrade' model for current owners – especially if you want voice control, which now lacks – but newcomers seeking a distinctive wireless speaker with discerning sound, one that isn't a Sonos or wood-topped hi-fi, need look no further for a 5-star option.
Takes everything that made the last Zeppelin such a superb streaming speaker and elevates the listening experience – if only slightly. The Pro Edition is the best Zeppelin to date.
