Final's ZE8000 flagship true wireless earbuds are some of the best on the market right now. The ZE8000 combine exceptional sound quality, clarity, and precision, with a unique earbud-style that you won't find anywhere else. They do come with a premium price tag, but the audiophile-quality sound more than makes up for it, and if you're serious about audio, the ZE8000 should be on your list.
The final ZE8000 technical performance and user experience are absolutely top-notch and even exceeded my expectations after spending a few weeks with it. It performs exceptionally well across a wide range of genres, making it a great option for those with diverse music collections.
Final has put a lot of effort into its flagship TWS IEMs. The shell design is unique, the app was developed from the ground up, and the ANC tech also debuted in a pair of Final IEMs. Microphone performance is also good – a welcome improvement over the entry-level ZE3000.
The Final Audio ZE8000 doesn’t pretend to be a sporty and casual wireless earphone – this one is for the audiophiles looking for a wireless unit that puts sound quality before all else. The ZE8000 offers excellent imaging along with a warm-yet-clear balance. The fit may be a bit unusual, but it turned out to be a non-issue for me once I got used to it. The ZE8000 doesn’t sound, look, or feel like anything else in the wireless market right now – Final Audio seemed to carve a new wireless path with it, and if you ask me, their risk paid off.
The Final ZE8000 are the best-sounding ANC earbuds we’ve heard to date, striking an impressive balance between audio quality and active noise cancellation.
If you’re willing to play around with the equalizer to achieve your ideal balance, the ZE8000 is certainly an IEM worthy of the Final Audio brand. Do not look at the ZE8000 as a step up form the more affordable ZE3000. It doesn’t have the liveliness or shine of rest of the ZE series. Rather, this model takes a more “toned down” and more detailed approach, choosing to focus on bringing out tonal subtleties and variations that you would usually only expect from a wired IEM at this price point.
The Final ZE8000 true wireless boasts a very fine, neutral-sounding performance with music, but the noise-cancelling disappoints, the battery life is below par and issues with comfort derail these expensive wireless earbuds.
If you like the idea of some thoroughly uncompromised engineering, of rock-solid midrange fidelity and an impressive overall level of detail retrieval and contextualisation from your true wireless in-ear headphones, the Final Audio ZE8000 could be just the ticket. I can’t help thinking that an awful lot of listeners are going to be expecting greater low-frequency boldness, more in the way of noise-cancellation and a little less fiddling when it comes to wearing their earbuds in the first place though…
The Final ZE8000 is an ambitious flagship that doesn't quite nail the brief. Although the ZE8000 promises noise canceling, it barely registers. Combination ear tips and stabilizers mean getting a good, isolating fit is difficult for some ears. We like the streamlined nature of the app's user interface and the equalizer's design, but the ZE8000 needs to try harder to justify the price tag.

The Final ZE8000 provide an exceptional audio experience, possibly the best sound we've experienced with a pair of wireless bud so far.

We rather like the overall tuning and we suspect that those who want better bass performance will enjoy their emphasis in that range.

In some ways the ZE8000 are admirable - but that’s nothing like enough to compete in a market as competitive as this.
