When shopping for a 5.1 speaker system, there are a lot of options in the $3600 price range. While this system has its limitations, its positives greatly outweigh the negatives by a long shot.
one of the nicest looking bookshelf speakers we’ve seen. Great cabinet. High quality proprietary driver materials, and great specs to show for it. Big and heavy, probably overkill for nearfield/desktop. Might be harder for non French customers to get a good deal/warranty on any of their speakers for the time being.
Compact and realistically priced, the Chorus 726V is a good all-round performer. Although it gets a little edgy when driven hard, it makes up for this with superior dynamic expression and tension

The 706V had a large and spacious presentation, with images that tended to be a bit billowy and diffuse rather than tightly focused.
