The Hisense PX3-PRO expands on the growing line of Designed for Xbox projectors with the world’s first RGB laser UST with this designation, showing excellent performance for gaming and movies alike. Its good out-of-box color accuracy, gamut coverage and support for DolbyVision, HDR10+ are sure to impress.
The Hisense PX3-PRO offers top-tier image quality plus integrated smart TV features, support for every common HDR mode, and a Designed for Xbox certification, making it an excellent ultra short throw projector.
The PX3-PRO offers a significant brightness upgrade over the PX2-PRO, with 3,000 ANSI lumens of manufacturer-rated brightness, representing a 25% increase. This enhancement can notably improve the visual experience, especially in environments with ambient light sources such as windows. The increased brightness ensures that images remain vivid and clear rather than appearing washed out, even in well-lit rooms. Additionally, the PX3-PRO's superior brightness allows it to maintain impressive picture quality at its maximum estimated screen size of 150 inches without compromising on clarity.
So, it's time to formulate my conclusion and my final evaluation of the Hisense PX3-Pro by checking which boxes it ticks in my list of the ideal projector
I cannot find anything negative to say about the Hisense PX3-PRO Tri-Chroma Laser Projector. It delivers a superb image with more contrast than the average DLP, sharp optics, and richly saturated color. It’s accurate without calibration and adjusts to an even higher standard. It switches seamlessly between video signal formats and supports all three HDR versions with no fuss. You can play music through its excellent speakers using Apple AirPlay and even swipe through your phone’s photos at the same time. If you have a game console, it can refresh at 240 Hz with low input lag. And it costs $3,499 which is less than many jumbo flat panels. It’s a complete entertainment device that can replace your TV and your stereo. Those looking for an all-in-one solution should definitely check it out.
The Hisense PX3-Pro is a worthy successor to its PX2-Pro predecessor. Its upgraded brightness is a big benefit and helps make its stunning color enjoyable in various room lighting conditions. Gamers also get a huge upgrade with its new 240Hz mode.
So overall when it comes to the PX3 Pro, I think it's a great projector and a worthy successor to the previous models. It's considerably brighter noticeably sharper, and it comes with several new features like dolby vision support, lower input lag, a better operating system and even 3d support.
The Google TV integration makes the PX3-Pro so easy to use, which supports the notion that high-end equipment doesn’t need to be complicated. The PX3-Pro comes in at $3,500 on a normal day, and that doesn’t include the ALR screen you’ll want to have with it. Still, you’re looking at a short-throw projector that offers a simple setup process, an incredible picture, a dedicated gaming mode, and the ability to get up to a 150-inch picture.
The Hisense PX3-PRO is a great projector for watching movies. It's bright enough for rooms with a few lights, and it's also bright enough to project bright and punchy colors, especially with its extremely wide color gamut. Its contrast is impressive, so it truly excels in darker rooms. It's also a fully featured projector with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Dolby Atmos support, making it very versatile. Its pre-calibration image accuracy is mediocre; however, as the unit's color temperature is noticeably too warm and out-of-the-box, those who care about accuracy will want to calibrate it for the best possible experience.
