The current affordable price, long battery life and practical noise-cancelling make the JBL Tune 230NC TWS a clear highlight. It doesn’t have much competition at the moment, at least among the renowned audio brands. Those who want a bit more audiophile sound quality and even more effective noise-canceling will probably be happy to pay the extra bucks for the Panasonic RZ-S500WE. However, the JBL also makes it clear in a direct comparison that the Panasonic cannot quite keep up in terms of battery life and dynamics – and listening fun!
The JBL Tune 230NC are true wireless earbuds that offer a nice, bright sound, a comfortable fit and solid battery life for a pretty reasonable price. ANC isn’t best in class, plus you can find better call clarity elsewhere, but for the price there’s more to like than not here.
Fitness and commuting suit the JBL Tune 230NC TWS and its quirks likely won't get in the way in these scenarios. The noise cancelling, while convenient, won't blow you away and the fit is hard to get right. Still, if you can forgive its handful of drawbacks, you'll find a lot to like about these earbuds.
These headphones have a lightweight and very portable design, which makes it easy to take them with you on the go. They also have a comfortable fit, and their continuous battery life of over eight hours with an additional three charges in their carrying case should last through long days on the road without too much of an issue. However, although they have an ANC system, they still struggle to block out the low rumble of bus and plane engines.

JBL's true wireless Tune 230NC earphones deliver good audio performance and active noise cancellation for the price, but they don't quite stand out.
