You'll need to tune it up for a truly accurate image, but the laser-driven DLA-NZ7 delivers the outstanding picture quality we've come to expect from JVC in a solid-state projector that never needs lamp replacements.

The projector's out-of-the-box color reproduction could have been better, but it can be quickly corrected during calibration. Due to its fantastic black levels, and bright, vibrant HDR image, I would have been happy to have the projector as a permanent part of my reference system. Overall, I was highly impressed with the performance of the DLA-NZ7, so we believe it is the best home theater projector under $15,000.

Closing our review we can definitely say we are amazed by how good the new JVC DLA-NZ7 did. What is important to consider is that at a price of around $9,899 there is no other direct competition with similar characteristics to this one and for what is available in the market right now you will need to climb in price considerably. JVC really nailed it with this price and thus the new DLA-NZ7 gains our highest recommendation.

This is a high-end projector with a price tag to match and will be out of the reach of many home cinema fans. But, if you have the means and the room for the JVC NZ7, you will be rewarded with some of the best projected images I have seen in a while.
