It's remarkable for watching movies in dark rooms thanks to its near-infinite contrast ratio with perfect blacks, and it's also excellent for watching HDR movies, but some colors don't look vivid. If you watch shows or sports in bright rooms, it's impressive as it has incredible reflection handling to fight glare from a few light sources, but it doesn't get bright enough to fight a ton of glare. It's incredible for gaming as it has features to take full advantage of the PS5 and Xbox Series X, supports variable refresh rate (VRR) support to reduce screen tearing, and has low input lag and a near-instantaneous response time for smooth motion. It's fantastic to use as a PC monitor, but OLEDs risk permanent burn-in when exposed to the same static elements over time.

The LG B2 series is the company’s step-up OLED TV line, adding on gaming-friendly features such as 120Hz, VRR, ALLM, and FreeSync Premium to the impressive basic picture quality also found in the entry level LG A2 series. Like the A2 TVs, B2 sets have limited brightness compared to the best OLED models, and the built-in sound quality is just so-so. But if you want an affordable OLED TV for watching movies that’s also got game, the B2 series is the one to buy.
Only under the hood do the real changes become apparent. One of the biggest is undoubtedly the modified control of the panel, which now provides up to 700 nits of peak brightness. Unfortunately, LG does not give the mid-range TV a more advanced Evo panel, but it almost closes the gap to the C1 with this adaptation. However, LG still wanted to keep a certain respect distance.
Like all OLED TVs, the B2 delivers perfect black levels and sensational viewing angles. Its color production is superb in both SDR and HDR, and we love the B2’s premium design.
This LG OLED B2 65 review finds a display with peerless picture quality on every count. The B2 OLED series excels in dark rooms and works well in brighter rooms. The only tradeoff you may feel is WebOS.
