In addition to its peak performance, its beautiful design, and its laundry list of extra features, the LG C1 is just a flat-out better value than this year’s LG Gallery OLED (known as the “G1”). In fact, when it comes to picture quality, I’d wager that most folks wouldn’t notice much of a difference between the two.

t combines that incredible image quality with the best features -- particularly for gamers -- the widest range of screen sizes and a price that's not too outrageous.

The LG C1 in any screen size is an excellent OLED TV with every feature you could need in one package. It might not have the extra brightness of the G1 EVO OLED, but in every other department it serves up superb image quality, peerless gaming credentials and a smart TV system with almost every available application you could want. It's without doubt a Best Buy!

It has stunning picture quality thanks to its near-infinite contrast ratio, which is great for watching movies or gaming in the dark. The near-instantaneous response time makes motion look exceptionally clear in fast-moving games and sports, and its low input lag is great for gaming or use as a PC monitor. While it doesn't get very bright for HDR, its high contrast helps it deliver an impressive HDR experience.

If you’re a high roller who loves gaming as much as you enjoy watching films in super-high definition, this is the best screen I’ve ever tested. You can spend a bit more for a higher-end model from Sony or even LG, but I'd say save your cash. The C1 looks so good, you'll barely be able to see a difference.

The LG C1 brings extra sharpness and refinements to its images, and connectivity and features remain at the head of the pack. It was a smash hit at launch – and remains one now, thanks to an even more attractive price point.

The C1 isn’t much of an improvement on its predecessor, but there wasn’t much that needed improving. The picture performance and feature set were already exemplary, and LG has slightly improved the former with its new Cinematic Movement motion processing and enhanced de-contouring feature, and slightly improved the latter with a better menu system and a more complete app selection.

The LG C1 is the latest addition to a lineup that has dominated the mid-range 4K OLED TV market since its initial release. The reasons for this are simple: it’s competitively priced, looks great and delivers superb image accuracy. There’s also support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, a host of gaming features, and an upgraded version of LG’s intuitive webOS smart platform.

The performance of today's flagship OLED TVs is so good that it's getting harder to differentiate between them. But the 65G1PUA brings some extra juice to the table. It's the brightest OLED we've tested so far, and while the extensive HDMI 2.1 features it offers may not be needed by all buyers, no TV on the market delivers more gaming-related capabilities. Movies, videogames, broadcast 4K TV viewing, whatever, if your budget accommodates it, LG's 65G1PUA should be at the top of your shopping list.

Although there's a newer model available, the LG C1 OLED remains one of the best TVs at any price. It’s missing the new OLED evo panels going into the G1 OLED, but even in their absence the C1 produces colorful, bright and rich pictures with support for most types of HDR. There might be one or two areas for improvement, but otherwise the LG C1 OLED remains a great option.
