For the most part, its performance is expertly calibrated right out of the box, and even though its colors lack the borderline-psychedelic quality of an upscale QLED TV, there’s plenty to marvel at. From a gaming standpoint, it checks quite literally all of the boxes. You won’t regret buying this TV for next-gen gaming. You’re covered for years to come.

There’s really little to dislike about this TV and a whole lot that will bring a smile while you’re watching your favorite movies and shows and playing games. While deciding which OLED to get has become harder, you can’t go wrong with the 2022 Evo C2.

Last year’s LG C1 is an outstanding television and with minimal upgrades other than slightly torqued up brightness in this year’s model, it will be hard for the average person to see any difference between it and the new C2. Of course, that still makes the C2 one of the best televisions on the market, it just doesn’t separate itself from its predecessor very well. Hopefully next year, we’ll see LG add something to its OLEDs that makes us go “wow” again.

The LG C2 is an exceptionally good TV that offers real benefits over the prior-year C1 model it replaces. Moreover, it’s just a straight-up excellent TV that produces a picture that will gobsmack most viewers, and it does so at a reasonable, if still premium, price.

The LG C2 is an incredible TV for most uses. Its self-emissive technology is superb for watching movies or HDR content in a dark room. It's also brighter than most OLED panels, making it an excellent choice for watching TV shows or sports in a bright room, and the image remains accurate at a wide angle, so it's great for a wide seating arrangement. It has an impressive selection of gaming features, and its low input lag results in a fantastic gaming experience.
