The AV 10 in particular is, without doubt, the best processor I have used outside of a Trinnov Altitude 16 (I haven't tested a Storm) and, frankly, sounds just as good when set up properly. A Trinnov provides more functionality and flexibility, together with vastly better calibration options and the upgradeability associated with its PC architecture, so the premium one pays for a Trinnov is fully justified. However, the fact I'm even comparing the AV 10 to an Altitude 16, when the AV 10 and AMP 10 together cost less than an Altitude, speaks volumes. It's also worth noting that the AV 10 is more user-friendly and accessible for non-professionals than a Trinnov and has superior integration with streaming services. That means that for practical day-to-day use, especially in living room setups, the AV 10 might actually be the better choice.

An engineering marvel from Marantz with just about everything you could ask for in an AV processor. Just add an amp and speakers for total immersion.
