You all can call me a Mezz fanboy. They just seem to never fail. And that's the same thing with the Stratas here.

The Meze Strada is a headphone built for listeners who value refinement, comfort, and tonal balance over sheer impact or aggressive tuning.

This dynamic driver is great. It's so easy to drive. I can plug this into anything. You can plug it into a gaming controller and it'll get more than loud enough. So, it's a very usable everyday serviceable headphone with the premium aesthetics and build quality that you'd expect from Meza Audio.

I hammered Mey Audio so many times for not delivering the right bass energy and the right mid-range energy, but I take all of my words back with the Strata because these are very different. And as a music first audio file, it's really and I mean really hard complaining about this. Sure, we do not have the last word in resolution. These are not super fast. These are not super big sounding.

So, the bass for me, for the Strata, I think is actually pretty good. If I'm just thinking about the bass, I don't like the way that it's integrated with the mid-range, but I think overall this feels very satisfying. For the mid-range, again, I find this a little bit on the lean side, and this is part of the reason why it doesn't sound quite as coherent as what I would like. For the treble, this is where I think my biggest problem is with this headphone. got some resonant and rocky treble punctuated by a strong upper treble presence to it. That is just too much in my opinion.
