The Moondrop Blessing 3 has excellent imaging performance, especially for the price. Pair that with its neutral tonality with slight elevations towards both ends of the frequency response, and the Blessing 3 technically proficient set of IEMs that are also enjoyable to listen to every day.

Moondrop Blessing 3 IEMs are a remarkable example of how audio technology continues to evolve. Despite minor shortcomings in the bass to mid-bass regions, the Blessing 3 compensates with a vibrant upper midrange and expansive treble. Its technical performance is remarkable, rendering the location of instruments within its wide soundstage with accuracy. The Blessing 3 IEMs are worthy of consideration, whether you’re an audiophile looking for a new addition to your collection or a music enthusiast seeking a high-quality listening experience. Their combination of aesthetic appeal, great sound quality, and technical prowess make them an excellent choice at this price point.

In general, I think the Blessing 3 is a case of two steps forward and one step back. It has close to class-leading technicalities for its price point while maintaining Moondrop’s house sound. But enjoyers of the original Blessing 2 - and especially the Blessing 2: Dusk - will not necessarily find themselves enamored with the Blessing 3.

The MOONDROP Blessing 3 are very good for neutral sound. They have a flat sound profile that follows our Harman-based target curve quite well. They can reproduce bass quite well. That said, a dip in the mid-mid nudges vocals and instruments to the back of the mix, although they still sound natural overall, while a recessed treble dulls sibilants a bit. Since they're in-ear headphones, they also struggle to create a wide and immersive passive soundstage. On the upside, they deliver bass and treble consistently across reseats.

A brilliant pair of IEMs is buried somewhere in the Moondrop Blessing 3. Currently, idiosyncratic tuning keeps their excellent technical abilities from shining through at their fullest. They work fine for electronic music, but I recommend trying the Blessing 3 before buying. Once EQ’ed, the Blessing 3 prove they can challenge IEMs of higher price brackets. I don’t think the Blessing 3 will enjoy the same safe recommendation status as their predecessor. The shouty and slam-shy tuning doesn’t work too well with most music.
