The Anker Nebula X1 offers the best of both worlds, with home theater performance and portability. Combined with optional Bluetooth satellite speakers, the X1 is a portable home theater, not just a portable projector, making it a standout against its competition. It offers an immersive 4K with Dolby Vision experience, low input lag, Google TV, and auto features that make setup a breeze. The X1 is a high-end projector suitable for those who want the home theater experience in a portable package.
The Nebula X1 4K projector stands out as more than a portable projector but a premium home cinema solution that delivers an exceptionally bright and high-quality 4K image with vivid colors and excellent detail, even in non-darkened environments. The X1 offers premium performance at a premium price point, but ultimately, if you can afford it, I think it’s well worth it.
The Anker Nebula X1 is a groundbreaking room-to-room portable projector, delivering impressive image and audio quality and a new level of automated setup.
In my opinion, the Nebula X1 has shaken up the lifestyle 4K DLP category with noise, setting new standards that competitors will have a hard time reaching.
The Nebula X1 brings the portable projector category to another level. Its motorized gimbal and auto setup features get you watching content faster than ever, and the optical engine delivers a sharp 4K picture with support for Dolby Vision. Add in the optional wireless speakers and your movie nights will be the envy of the neighborhood.
I'm gonna be really blunt here, I am completely baffled by the X1. It has a level of performance that is unquestionably impressive. That level sort of even justifies its price, which is unquestionably high. But to have that performance and that price in something intended for portability and outdoor use? Who is this for exactly? I don't want to yuck anyone's yums, but I find it hard to believe that anyone who can afford to spend $3,000 to $4,000 on something they're going to use only a few times a year will care what I say in a review. They've already had one of their lackeys buy it with the estate's AmEx Black.
Overall, I don’t have any real complaints. Sometimes the automatic image placement features can miss the mark, but I find them far more useful than annoying.
The Anker Nebula X1 projector is excellent for watching movies. It's easily bright enough to be watched outside at night, even with some lights around.

Where most previous Nebula projectors have undercut the competition on price, the X1 is reasonably expensive and the speakers and case bundle is a significant investment. What’s more, serious home cinema buffs may prefer a more conventional unit that focuses entirely on making movies look their best.

Easy automated setup. Seriously bright and eerily quiet. Google TV onboard. Game-changing audio (with the satellite speakers). Karaoke!
