The Samsung Q80C (QN65Q80C / QN55Q80C) is an excellent TV for bright room viewing, packs a robust Tizen streaming platform, and supports high frame rate gaming at a lower price than flagship TVs.
The Samsung Q80C QLED TV is a great QLED TV for the price. Its serious brightness and anti-reflective coating make it adept at handling large amounts of ambient lighting, while a low input lag set across four HDMI 2.1 ports makes it a gamer’s paradise. Its lack of Dolby Vision and lack of Mini-LED backlighting might be sore spots for some, though.
Samsung Q80C is a very good choice if the budget does not allow for the Samsung Neo QLED or Mini-LED models , which are much more expensive. The bright image of the Q80C is easy to please everyone.
The Samsung Q80C is a good general-purpose TV. Its standout features are its impressive SDR peak brightness combined with the TV's decent reflection handling; this makes the TV quite good in any bright room scenario, from watching TV shows or sports, using the TV as a PC monitor, or playing video games.
