In some ways, I think I almost prefer the new Sennheiser ACCENTUM True Wireless over the more expensive MOMENTUM 4 TW. The compact size of the case is small enough to pop in a pocket and the shape of the earpieces is so comfortable to wear, even for long listening sessions. The ANC works well and the Sennheiser Smart Control app is a classy piece of software that adds extra flexibility to the ACCENTUM TW. If you want an affordable pair of true wireless ANC earbuds, the ACCENTUM TW are hard to beat thanks to their superb 7mm True Response drivers which I suspect are the same or very close to the ones used in the MOMENTUM 4 TW. Highly Recommended.
Ultimately, how much these things matter to you will come down to how much the £80 saving means to you. Having had both earphones available side by side for testing, it is hard to ignore that Sennheiser has squeezed an awful lot of the performance of the Momentum into the Accentum and arguably made it more comfortable in the process. Be under no illusions that the Momentum is better; one of the very best you can buy at the moment but there is a huge chunk of that performance available for less money here. Judged on its considerable merits, the Accentum has to be seen as a Best Buy.
The Sennheiser ACCENTUM True Wireless fits extremely comfortably in the ear and produce a high-quality sounds across the entire sound stage. Their ANC is exceptional and their price is more affordable at $349.95. I can highly recommend them for those not wanting to spend more than this.
The Sennheiser Accentum True Wireless strike the right balance between price and sound quality. As an entry-level pair of earbuds they sound good, have effective noise cancelling and favourable battery life. There are some compromises, but they’re acceptable given the price point - although we’re still not convinced the inclusion of Aurcast is really necessary right now, even for those that want to ensure their ear buds are future-proofed.
The Accentum buds' only drawback is their battery life. Eight hours is on par with other premium earbuds, but I'd like to squeeze out a little more juice. Still, I'll take an entire day's worth of battery life in exchange for great sound, high-performing noise-canceling tech, and all-day comfort.
The reality is the price point that $349 price point is Australian price that is uh kind of makes all of those negatives which are the fringe negatives kind of fade away into the back ground.
If you have $200 to spend, there are better options than the Sennheiser ACCENTUM True Wireless. These earbuds aren't terrible, but the sound quality and microphone quality aren't up to par for the asking price.
Sennheiser Accentum True Wireless earbuds are proof that not even a brand as big and credible as German manufacturer can hit the bull’s-eye every time – and here they deliver a product that is very selective about the areas in which it can properly compete.
