From a sonic point of view, Sennheiser’s HD 350BT should appeal not only to adults but also to teenagers who prefer a strong bass response. At the same time, these Bluetooth headphones cover a wide range of applications and are recommended for listening to audio books and watching films thanks to their precise, clear voice reproduction. If you can do without the option of wired use, you will find these to be good, portable all-rounders with a very long battery life, which also offer a remarkably stable wireless connection with a usefully long range.
Sennheiser’s HD 350BT headphones are a great value buy if you’re after neutral wireless performers that won’t break the bank. The catch is they won’t deliver deep bass or mute the sound of the suburbs during your hybrid working week. On the plus side, they don’t look like cheap tat either and have an innate understanding of rhythm and pace. Excellent battery life sweetens the deal.
Easy on the ears and very tidy for this price point, there’s little to complain about. However, this isn’t a headphone you can rock out too. The volume just doesn’t get loud enough to make your nipples vibrate. But if you’re the sensible type who listens at reasonable volumes, you should be okay. My only other complaint is the mediocre call quality. So, all in all, the HD 350BT is a pretty good deal. I just wasn’t blown out of my chair.
The Sennheiser HD 350BT sounds great, but it isn't perfect. The company nixed the headphone jack, so Bluetooth streaming is your only playback option. These headphones are lightweight and portable, but the narrow ear pads may prove uncomfortable for a great many listeners. If you want to support the Sennheiser brand but need a more comfortable build, become acquainted with the Sennheiser PXC 550-II.
If you’re working within a tighter budget and can live with the 350’s limitations, there isn’t another set of Bluetooth on-ears that currently offer this sort of rich audio experience for such a low price.
While the HD350BT won’t appeal to those looking to blast pop music, nor those looking for a headphone with a warm, meaty, or intimate sound, it very much appeals to me.
