There’s one focus for the HDB 630 — sound quality. The pursuit is absolute, with every feature dedicated to excellent sound. And sound good, they do indeed. The dongle is a welcome addition for audiophiles, and the sound, as a result, is epic. They’re comfortable, handsome, and the ANC is pretty good to boot. You have to spend many, many dollars for those features, however.

The Sennheiser HDB 630 offer fantastic higher-resolution wireless audio on the go, an extensive, detailed set of features, and plentiful battery life. Combine that with effective, adjustable active noise cancellation, and Sennheiser’s on to a real winner – even in spite of a few minor drawbacks, like their shaky touch controls.

As good as the HDB 630 is sound-wise, I can also appreciate that these aren’t the best headphones for everyone.

So while personally not fully my cup of tea, the Sennheiser HDB 630 undeniably is a strong recommendation for anyone looking for a no-compromise, audiophile-grade Bluetooth headphone. A Momentum 4 Pro in disguise – and one of Sennheiser’s most mature releases yet.
