The TCL QM6K series is a new line of TVs that TCL unveiled at CES 2025. The most important thing to know about the QM6K is that TCL is bringing its high-end Mini LED technology to its entry-level product line for the first time, and at very aggressive prices. In a rarity for CES, the QM6K TV is available to preorder immediately.
Here's a look at the tech specs of the TCL QM6K series TVs:
- High Contrast HVA Panel
- Enhanced QLE
- Up to LD500 Precise Dimming
- 144Hz Native Refresh Rate
- Game Accelerator 288, for up to blistering fast 288 VRR
- TCL AiPQ Pro Processor

TCL says that the QM6K series offers a level of picture quality that has never been offered in its price band before. TCL has been in a fierce battle with Hisense in the Mini LED category; both brands have delivered fantastic TVs in recent years that set new expectations for their pricing tiers.
Here are some of the highlights of the QM6K series:

- A 144Hz panel (which can be pushed to 288Hz VRR in Game Accelerator mode)

TCL is also touting its new backlight technology, which the company says will greatly reduce blooming, a halo effect that can surround bright objects on a dark background.
The QM6K series is available in a variety of sizes, ranging from 50 inches to a whopping 98 inches. Pre-orders for several of the sizes are beginning today. Here's a breakdown of the pricing and pre-order availability:

Overall, the TCL QM6K series looks like a promising new line of TVs that offers a lot of features for the price. The new Mini LED technology, high refresh rate panel, and built-in sound system are all highlights. We will have to wait for reviews to see how the TVs perform in real-world use, but on paper, the QM6K series looks like a great option for budget-minded shoppers who want a high-quality TV. We look forward to the reviews and CE Critic Score.
