I own the 55" Hisense u78qg (canadian version). This tv is seriously impressive for the money. I paid about 800$ canadian for it. I run my pc on this tv and force the resolution to 1440p at 144 hz. It can do 165 without problemes. My old hisense u78g had handshake problems when forcing 1440p. It would always flicker. This new tv has no problem running 1440. The problem im facing is running hdr game mode. With my pc in hdr mode and this tv in hdr game mode, there is serious mouse lag, specially noticable when scrolling through youtube. But the controller when playing a game has no issues. The hdr game mode always defaults to 75% brightness. You can change that but it will default back to 75 constantly. I wish to run at full brightness. The final problem or nit pick that i have is it is not hdr or dolby vision certified. So dolby vision wont work on my pc. Hisense please fix hdr game mouse stutter and the brightness level. Hdr and dolby vision certification would be nice aswell.
