It is always a joy to review a pair of headphones like the Beyerdynamic DT 880 Pro. Finding fantastic products that I can easily recommend is not always easy. But when it comes to these, I can confidently give them two thumbs up.
Beyerdynamic's DT 880 Pro headphones do very little sculpting, manage to provide strong bass depth without inventing lows where they don't exist, and provide excellent clarity throughout the frequency range.
This is a fantastic set of open-back headphones for $300 USD, its original retail price, and now you can snag it often for less than $200 USD, making it a complete steal. Its tough-as-nails construction and comfortable velour padding make for a relaxed experience. However, if you're sensitive to treble peaks, you may want to keep looking.
