Questyle has announced the QCC Dongle Pro2, a new flagship Bluetooth transmitter designed to overcome one of the biggest frustrations facing wireless audio enthusiasts: limited Bluetooth codec support across popular devices.

Available now for $99 USD, the QCC Dongle Pro2 builds on the company's previous transmitter with support for Bluetooth 6.1, expanded codec compatibility, Apple MFi certification, and new features like Auracast. The compact plug-and-play adapter is aimed at anyone looking to unlock higher-quality, lower-latency Bluetooth audio from devices such as the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows PCs, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and even wired DACs.

Rather than relying on the Bluetooth implementation built into the host device, the QCC Dongle Pro2 acts as an external transmitter, bypassing many of the limitations found on today's platforms. That can be particularly beneficial for Apple users, whose devices continue to support only SBC and AAC codecs natively, as well as PC gamers who often encounter inconsistent Bluetooth performance across different hardware.

"At Questyle we aim to make advanced audio technologies more accessible to everyone," said Jason Wang, CEO of Questyle. "The QCC Dongle Pro2 expands on the promise of its predecessors to break down the barriers that typically prevent listeners from enjoying the best Bluetooth audio on their favorite devices, all with the ease of plug-and-play."

One of the biggest upgrades is the move to Bluetooth 6.1, which Questyle says improves connection stability, reduces interference, lowers power consumption, and delivers more precise synchronization—an important feature for gaming where audio delay can significantly impact the experience.

Codec support has also expanded considerably. In addition to LDAC, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless, the new transmitter now supports LHDC-V5 and LC3 (LE Audio), offering broader compatibility with current and future Bluetooth headphones and earbuds.

The addition of Auracast also opens new possibilities by allowing audio from a single source device to be broadcast simultaneously to multiple compatible receivers. Whether sharing music with friends or delivering audio in public environments, the feature represents one of the more forward-looking additions to the platform.

Questyle has also placed a strong emphasis on Apple users. The Apple MFi certification ensures optimized compatibility with iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices while providing improved power management and long-term support within Apple's ecosystem. Users can also manage connected devices, switch codecs, monitor connection status, and install firmware updates through the companion Questyle app.
