Campfire Audio is celebrating its first ten years with the wider release of one of its most ambitious earphones to date. The Andromeda 10, originally launched in limited Black and Gold editions to commemorate the company’s anniversary, is now joining the permanent lineup in a new Classic Green Standard Edition. It’s a familiar color for longtime Campfire fans, but under the surface this is the most technically advanced Andromeda the company has ever produced.

The Andromeda name has long been synonymous with balance and musicality in the high-end IEM world, and the Andromeda 10 builds directly on that legacy. According to Campfire Audio, the Classic Green Standard Edition uses the exact same internal architecture and tuning as last year’s Limited Editions, delivering the same sonic performance in a lighter, more traditional aluminum housing.

“Andromeda has always been a very personal project for me,” said Ken Ball, Founder and Lead Acoustic Engineer at Campfire Audio. “With Andromeda 10, we took everything we’ve learned over the last ten years—new driver configurations, new tuning elements, and countless listening sessions—and applied it to a design that still feels unmistakably Andromeda.”

At the heart of Andromeda 10 is a significantly upgraded driver array. Campfire has doubled the driver count compared to the original Andromeda, moving from five to ten custom balanced armature drivers per side. The system is configured with four low-frequency drivers, four midrange drivers, and two high-frequency drivers, all integrated through a carefully optimized multi-driver acoustic network.

Two of Campfire Audio’s latest acoustic technologies play a major role here. The new Non-Enclosed Midrange Chamber (NEMC) is designed to give the midrange more openness and articulation, reducing congestion while improving spatial cues. High frequencies are handled by Campfire’s proprietary Tuned Acoustic Expansion Chamber (TAEC), which allows the treble drivers to operate without traditional sound tubes, extending high-frequency response while keeping distortion in check.

The result, at least on paper, is an IEM focused on resolution and dynamic range without losing the cohesive, musical presentation that made earlier Andromeda models so popular with audiophiles.

Physically, the Classic Green Standard Edition trades the stainless-steel Damascus housing of the Limited Editions for an anodized aluminum shell finished in Campfire’s signature green. This reduces overall weight while preserving the internal layout and acoustic performance. The earphones ship with Campfire’s Time Stream cable, featuring a modular termination system with 3.5mm, 4.4mm balanced, and USB-C DAC options. A matching green premium case is also included.

One notable first for Campfire Audio is the move to a 2-pin connector, replacing the brand’s traditional MMCX implementation.
