Every year, Hope, Arkansas, the birthplace of Klipsch, hosts the Klipsch Pilgrimage. This annual event draws fans to celebrate the company's founder, Paul W. Klipsch. The 2025 Pilgrimage, scheduled for March 7th and 8th, will commemorate what would have been his 121st birthday.
Klipsch sponsors this event, organized by the Klipsch Museum of Audio History, a non-profit established in 2016. The museum preserves Klipsch artifacts and archival materials, offering a look at the history of high-performance audio. Attendees can participate in guided museum tours, live music, technical discussions, and experience Klipsch history.
Roy Delgado Jr., Paul W. Klipsch’s principal engineer, notes the importance of honoring his mentor’s legacy and continuing to inspire passion for accurate sound reproduction. The Pilgrimage provides an opportunity for the Klipsch community to gather and celebrate this legacy.
The 2025 Pilgrimage includes museum tours, discussions, and listening experiences. A key event is the "Chief Bonehead Class," an educational session led by Delgado, focusing on the advantages of digital signal processing (DSP) for horn-loaded speakers. Most events are open to the public, with a fee for the class. Tickets and membership details are available at www.klipschmuseum.org.

Klipsch History and Technology:
Paul W. Klipsch's work emphasized accurate sound reproduction. The Klipsch Museum preserves this history through its collection of artifacts.
Horn-loaded speakers are a core technology at Klipsch. These speakers offer efficiency, producing sound with less power. Klipsch incorporates technologies like Tractrix horns and Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) tweeters.
Digital signal processing (DSP) is now integrated into Klipsch speakers, allowing for sound optimization. Delgado’s class will explore the application of DSP to horn loaded speakers.
Why Attend:
- Gain insight into the history of Klipsch and audio technology.
- Learn from Roy Delgado Jr. about DSP and horn-loaded speakers.
- Experience Klipsch speakers in a dedicated listening environment.
- Connect with other Klipsch enthusiasts.
Practical Details:
- Most events are free, with a fee for the "Chief Bonehead Class."
