The KEF R11 Meta towers as the flagship of the R-Series, blending flagship-grade engineering with powerful output. Its 12th-gen Uni-Q® with MAT™ delivers clean, detailed highs and natural midrange, while four 6.5″ woofers deliver deep, room-filling bass down to ~46 Hz. Die KEF R3 Meta ist vielleicht das kleinste Familienmitglied der R-Serie, aber kein bisschen schüchtern. Ganz im Gegenteil: Die R3 holt aus ihrem kompakten Gehäuse einen absolut erwachsenen Sound heraus. Bühnenabbildung und Auflösung lassen keine Wünsche offen. Dazu gesellt sich ein knackiger Bass und feiner Schmelz in den Mitten. 2.200 Euro sind eine ordentliche Stange Geld, der Klang kann sich aber mit teilweise deutlich teureren Lautsprechern absolut messen. Gute Gründe also, die KEF R3 Meta mit dem HIFI.DE Editors’ Choice Award 2023 auszuzeichnen.
